PREFACE
This study attempted to examine the role of financial institution in the development of small-scale enterprises in Nigeria. This is going to be carried out through and appraisal of the role these institutions have played and are still playing as holders of deposit and their lending activities to the preferred sections.
    CHAPTER ONE, dealt with expressions of establishment of small-scale industries and economic development of Nigeria. It also highlighted the impacts of small scale industries on the economic development of Nigeria as well as the problems disrupting the realization of these impacts form some the small scale enterprises the purpose of study were indicated and the significance were revealed.
     CHAPTER TWO. The word of some writer and opinions of some people were reviewed such as the definition of small-scale industries, on economic development. Collection. Sample and sampling procedure are areas involved in the population section.
     CHAPTER FIVE. Will include the summary of the study, conclusions and recommendations. From the recommendations, we should know that banking sector should strive to attract an increase in savings from both the private and public sectors so as to increase the loanable funds at their deposal.
